When I wasn't taking composite layers of a subject to rebuild, I used the Adobe Capture app for another creative asset production purpose. There exists a pattern setting that turns any image into a kaleidoscope. This helped me to produce innovative solutions for walls and floors in video edits. I minted a bunch of my favorite of these "Designer Patterns" to be used in creating textiles, in the real world or meta. It also seems rather likely that the OS in our devices may require proof of ownership to use images for backgrounds in the future. When tech makes something easy and efficient enough to allow for moral behavior, moral behavior tends to win — at least in this democracy.
