Illustrated Animation Video for web3 Product Marketing Content

Creative Director

Our next iteration of internet could only have been successful with privacy. Silent Protocol has beat everyone to the punch with the first compliant (legal) tool to use web3 anonymously. Better: It's incredibly simple to use. About as simple as this visual metaphor for privacy.

This is another fully self produced — from illustrating every thing you see, to editing and animating — brand story that gets the point across in under 25 seconds. These days I find myself editing video in quite the opposite fashion as years ago: I end up cutting too much out rather than struggling to find things to cut out. In the case of this production, I believe the idea that umbrellas keep us a bit private from anyone else on the street was the extent of the idea passed along to me from one of the long-term, hardcore crypto technologists. I was quite pleased with the overall feeling and the aesthetic of viewing the people from above. Again everything you see I drew, edited, and animated — on my iPad Pro. It is almost too intuitive; I struggle going back to After Effects after keyframe animating too many videos on the iPad. Anyway, the most fun and challenging aspect of this production was moving the passerby around in the aerial view in a way that felt completely human. I think it worked out wonderly, just look at that natural rainy urban dweller flow. (I'm always the one moving faster through the crowd.)
