This is one of those projects I can come to to clear my head. After spending hours on something for work or a client, some variety is necessary to keep the level of production high.

I come back to the cards to shift perspective. It takes you out of your work with intention.

It pulls back to some of my favorite aesthetics, subjects, and occult studies so it is always easy to jump into.

There are over 50 tarot cards in the deck and I'm trying to find ways to illustrate the traditional archetypal meanings of tarot cards, but through new subjects. Some may hold similar appearance attributes, others vastly different, but always the emotion you feel taking in the visual on the card — aiming only to mimic that same energy of tarot card meaning.

Maybe they'll be done in a couple years.
